Spacenet will present its emergency communication offerings for law enforcement and public safety agencies at the International Association of Chiefs of Police 119th Annual Conference and Exposition in San Diego, from Sept. 29 through Oct. 3.
The company said it will exhibit its ECS and ECS Flex Services that deliver satellite-based connectivity on a pay-as-you-use basis and products that use fixed satellite networks for applications and options for continuity of operations planning connectivity.
“For those who respond to emergencies, keeping open lines of communication is more critical than ever,” said CEO Glenn Katz. “Modern communications technology offers first responders powerful tools to save lives. Today’s first responders can now communicate using vital data, voice, images, and even video on-scene.
“The same event that creates the emergency often takes down the land-based infrastructure that typically enables these capabilities.
The company will also present its offerings in wireless backup and restoration offerings, integrated land mobile radios, satellite communications and command posts that function as mobile hotspots.
