Susan Aarons, formerly a senior leader in federal homeland security investigations and counterterrorism operations, has joined the private sector as director of federal operations at crime analytics firm Wynyard Group.
The company said Friday Aarons will oversee its product strategy and vision for the federal government sector.
“Susan brings an incredible investigative background in counterterrorism, national security and financial investigations,” said Derek Brown, vice president for the Americas at Wynyard.
Aarons will report to Brown and work from the company headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.
As a leader at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement group, Aarons has worked with FBI, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Defense and State departments.
She has nearly 30 years of experience in law enforcement.
